Each year, May 20th is celebrated across the globe as Clinical Trials Day. Carilion Clinic marks this day with a depiction of several of our clinical trials team members and why they are passionate about clinical research!
With a portfolio of approximately 135 clinical trials and 400 research studies, research is embedded into the fabric of Carilion Clinic. Today we honor the hundreds of patients at Carilion Clinic who participate in clinical trials, the committed professionals who work tirelessly to support the participants enrolled in clinical trials, and the physicians and healthcare providers leading clinical trials in our community, allowing access to cutting-edge therapies in our region!
