R&D July Newsletter
Colleagues,
Research and Development would like to welcome all incoming residents/ fellows and students to Carilion Clinic. Over the next few years, we hope that our department along with the Health Analytics Research Team and the Institutional Review Board can assist and support your research endeavors. To that end, one event that I would like to bring to your attention is the upcoming Research Education Series jointly created with the Office of Continuing Professional Development. The first session is on August 4th, 2022 at 12 noon via Zoom. The topic is Research vs Quality Improvement/ Quality Assurance. Please visit the link https://www.carilionclinic.org/news/research-education-series to gain more information on this session and future sessions. Also, the Pilot Translational and Clinic Studies and Community Organization and Research Institution Partnership grants through iTHRIV are due August 29th, 2022. Please contact Vera Hollen, vlhollen@carilionclinic.org if you plan to submit a proposal. I hope you are enjoying your summer.
