Camp Registrations Now Open for Summer 2026
Every year, Carilion offers summer camp options for different group of kids and teens. Registration is now open for all camps. Take a look at what is offered this year!
Camp Carilion
Tuesday, June 16 – Friday, June 19
Roanoke, VA
Camp Carilion is returning this summer for rising tenth, eleventh, or twelfth graders who may be interested in a future career in healthcare. This four-day camp allows students to have the opportunity to gain experience with life-saving skills and information through hands-on exercises and interactive demonstrations.
Students will learn more about:
- What to do in the event of an accident or life-threatening situation
- Trauma-related injuries and ways to prevent them
- Nursing skills
- CPR training
- Operating Room procedures, techniques, and instruments
- Many other different professions within the healthcare industry

Camp Treehouse
Friday, May 1 – Saturday, May 2
Peaks Retreat and Adventure Center, Thaxton, VA
Carilion's Center for Grief and Healing offers Camp Treehouse, a free, overnight camp designed to provide a safe, supportive space for children and teens (grades K-8). During this camp, youth have the opportunity to connect with peers who understand their grief. They will learn about grief's impact on one another and the family unit.
Parents/guardians must attend. Meals are provided. Indoor and outdoor lodging will be offered. For outdoor lodging, bring your own tent. Dress for outdoor adventure.
