New Grant Management Director
Vera Hollen, M.A. has been promoted to Grant Management Director effective October 8th, 2023. Vera started at Carilion Clinic on August 5th, 2019 after a successful career as a project manager and grant administrator for several federal, state and philanthropic organizations. During her time at Carilion Clinic, she has excelled at securing extramural funding from federal, state and foundations to support the research endeavors of our employees. In addition, she has worked closely with our health care providers to bring funding to Carilion Clinic for projects that have a direct impact on patient care for diseases including Hepatitis C, Sickle Cell Anemia and HIV. Moreover, her passion for customer service is exemplary. Please wish Vera continued success in her new position.
