Objective(s):

Understand regulatory requirements for informed consent in Human Subjects Research
Define the required elements of informed consent
Incorporate informed consent best practices into their work
Understand complex informed consent scenarios and apply practical strategies for compliance and participant protection

Target Audience:

Physicians conducting research or interested in conducting research at Carilion Clinic. Residents, medical students, nurses, and other research professionals will also benefit from this educational opportunity.
