Congratulations to Dr. Michelle Rockwell, Associate Professor, Family & Community Medicine on her acceptance to Academy Health's Inaugural Implementation Science Fellowship program. This $300,000 award will support innovative research aimed at improving osteoporosis care in primary care settings.

The Bone Health Optimization through Navigation, Evidence-based Screening, and Management (BONES) project is a two-year implementation science initiative that will strengthen osteoporosis screening and management across six primary care practices while enhancing performance on key quality metrics and limiting low-value care.

The project reflects a partnership between Carilion Clinic's Department of Family & Community Medicine and the Virginia Center for Health Innovation. Congratulations to all involved!
