Cardiovascular Institute among Becker’s Top 100

Carilion Clinic Cardiovascular Institute was included on Becker’s Hospital Review’s “100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Heart Programs” in July. The Becker’s list includes heart programs that provide exemplary heart care, patient outcomes and leading technologies.

The 132-bed Cardiovascular Institute includes six Cardiothoracic Surgeons, eight Aortic / Vascular Surgeons and 33 Cardiologists and has been consistently ranked as one of the top programs in the country, receiving the National Cardiovascular Data Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for consistent high performance in care metrics.
