2024 Carilion Clinic Research Day

The Research and Development department is pleased to announce the commencement of registration and abstract submission for the 2024 Carilion Clinic Research Day. This event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 9th, commencing at 7:00 am with a rapid communication session until 12:00 noon. Following this, an in-person poster day is scheduled from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm in the sixth-floor auditorium of the Roanoke Memorial Hospital building, located at 1906 Belleview Avenue SE, Roanoke, VA 24014.

The submission of case studies, basic science, translational, and clinical research is invited for consideration, with selected works having the opportunity to be featured in the poster session (comprising 68 posters) or as part of an oral presentation.

We particularly encourage the submission of student research projects, recognizing their valuable contribution to the field. Abstracts are due on March 8th, 2024, 5:00 pm EST.

Abstract acceptance for the poster session or selection for a rapid communication presentation will be communicated to the first author on or before, March 11th, 2024. All submissions will be published in a meeting proceedings publication.
