We offer services for growing children with orthopaedic issues, including certain types of congenital defects and illnesses, scoliosis, injuries and infections.
Carilion’s pediatric orthopaedics team uses many techniques to treat conditions, including observation of growth, physical therapy, braces and splints, and occasionally surgery. We have a team of fellowship-trained pediatric subspecialists in spine, hips, hand and upper extremity as well as trauma, sports medicine and lower extremity.
Our team of orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeons and podiatrists provides care at the Institute for Orthopaedics and Neurosciences in several locations throughout southwest Virginia. We are proud to be part of the largest academic orthopaedic practice in Virginia with more than 50 highly trained providers.
