Biography
Dr. Zielinski earned her medical degree at Wayne State University and completed her internship and residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. She completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Orlando Health - Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Dr. Zielinski relocated to Roanoke in 2016 to join Carilion Clinic as a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon and is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and pediatric orthopaedic surgery. She is assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
She finds joy in helping the children of our area and often becoming a long standing part in their lives. Each year, she spends time helping children and teaching local doctors in other countries though medical mission trips. Outside of work, she enjoys being outside running and hiking and is an avid reader. She and her husband enjoy traveling and learning about other cultures, food and history.
