Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital West Pavilion Entrance Subject to Detour on December 5

CRMHSignage-111323-29092

Work crews have completed replacing the signs on the front of Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (CRMH). Removing construction equipment from the CRMH roof will result in front entrance detours.

The CRMH West Pavilion entrance and a portion of the drop-off/pick-up lanes in front of CRMH will be closed on Tuesday, December 5, to accommodate the installation of a construction crane that will remove the rooftop equipment. The crane will then be removed.

While the front entrance is closed, detours will be in effect for vehicles and pedestrians, and signs will be in place throughout the day. The photo below displays the detours.

During the December 5 work, the hospital's South Pavilion entrance will remain open to patients, visitors and employees. The work will not affect access to the hospital from the north through the tunnel connected to the Terrace View garage.
