The Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) team at Carilion Clinic is a system-wide group of Infectious Diseases experts that provides assistance in managing infections and works to empower all members of the healthcare team to be stewards of optimal antimicrobial use.

This video series explores the importance of AMS, especially in the ambulatory setting. Leaders across Carilion are sharing their thoughts on how AMS is integral to quality care. These videos are for awareness and have no CME associated with them.

Podcast Series

The AMS team has started producing a podcast for healthcare professionals. Episodes feature discussions with subject-matter experts and frontline clinicians about common issues in infectious diseases. Currently, the episodes are available on YouTube, with plans to expand to other podcast platforms.
