As an accredited program, we're dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for people with cancer. Our team is committed to serving our patients and community by reducing the incidence of cancer and ensuring access to screening, early detection, treatment and quality care.
ACS Cancer Program
After an accident or illness, some patients need intensive therapy. Inpatient Rehabilitation is where the greatest gains in recovery are seen in the shortest time. Our mission is to provide rehabilitation services to patients who desire to live as independently as possible.
Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Services
We believe in a coordinated, interdisciplinary approach to the treatment of cancer. Our integrated care teams participate in multidisciplinary cancer conferences where specialists develop individual patient care plans that are coordinated prior to initiation of treatment.

The Carilion Clinic Cancer Survivorship Program positively contributes to the health and well-being of cancer survivors from the time of diagnosis.
About Our Survivorship Program
Hereditary cancer develops as a result of a genetic mutation, passed down from a parent to a child. It is important to identify families with hereditary susceptibility to cancer because they can take steps to reduce their risk or prevent cancer from occurring.
Our Genetics Cancer Program
An oncology-certified registered dietitian/nutritionist provides nutrition services to our oncology inpatients and outpatients. The services include performing nutritional assessments and developing and implementing nutritional care plans, as well as providing nutritional counseling.
