Biography
Dr. Paul Stromberg has academic interests in emerging drugs of abuse, the opioid epidemic and treatment of substance abuse disorders in general, gun violence prevention, simulation in medical student learning, and medical student evaluation. He has served as a Reviewer for Western Journal of Emergency Medicine since 2012 and MedEdPortal since 2014. He grew up in Blacksburg and is thrilled to be raising his two children among the natural splendor of Southwestern Virginia. When not riding his bicycle to improve Strava segment times or kayaking with his wife and children, he enjoys cooking and cheering for the Hokies and the St. Louis Cardinals.
