ACS Cancer Program
CyberKnife

CyberKnife Radiosurgery

The CyberKnife System is a non-invasive radiation treatment for cancerous tumors and other conditions. It can be used to treat cancer throughout the body and can be an effective alternative or addition to surgery.

IMRT

Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy

IMRT uses computer-controlled linear accelerators to deliver precise radiation doses to a tumor while sparing normal tissues. This allows the radiation dose to conform more precisely to the three-dimensional shape of the tumor, controlling the intensity of the radiation in multiple small beams.

Treatment planning

Advanced Treatment Planning

Members of the radiation oncology team work in close collaboration to provide personalized treatment plans. The expertise of our radiation therapists, medical physicists, medical dosimetrists, and radiation oncologists coupled with the most up to date technology produce optimal results for patients.

Theranostics

Theranostics

Theranostics is a treatment using diagnostic imaging to identify if certain receptors are present on cancer cells, followed by precise, injectable radiation treatment that targets these receptors. This injection selectively targets the tumor cells while avoiding healthy areas.

Brachytherapy

Brachytherapy

Brachytherapy precisely targets cancerous tumors from inside the body using more focused radiation than other methods. This procedure delivers radiation close to or inside the tumor, minimizing damage to surrounding normal tissues.
