Type 1.5 Diabetes: The “In-Between” Type You May Not Have Heard Of
Yep, it exists—and it’s often misdiagnosed.
David A. Buck, M.D.Medical Director, Radiation Oncology"The collective expertise and experience from our multidisciplinary team provides patients the same level of care that you would find at an academic medical center, just close to home."

As an accredited program, we're dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for people with cancer. Our team is committed to serving our patients and community by reducing the incidence of cancer and ensuring access to screening, early detection, treatment and quality care.
ACS Cancer ProgramThe CyberKnife System is a non-invasive radiation treatment for cancerous tumors and other conditions. It can be used to treat cancer throughout the body and can be an effective alternative or addition to surgery.

IMRT uses computer-controlled linear accelerators to deliver precise radiation doses to a tumor while sparing normal tissues. This allows the radiation dose to conform more precisely to the three-dimensional shape of the tumor, controlling the intensity of the radiation in multiple small beams.

Members of the radiation oncology team work in close collaboration to provide personalized treatment plans. The expertise of our radiation therapists, medical physicists, medical dosimetrists, and radiation oncologists coupled with the most up to date technology produce optimal results for patients.

Theranostics is a treatment using diagnostic imaging to identify if certain receptors are present on cancer cells, followed by precise, injectable radiation treatment that targets these receptors. This injection selectively targets the tumor cells while avoiding healthy areas.

Brachytherapy precisely targets cancerous tumors from inside the body using more focused radiation than other methods. This procedure delivers radiation close to or inside the tumor, minimizing damage to surrounding normal tissues.
