When dealing with a major change or difficulty in your life—whether medical or emotional—sharing space with others in your shoes can help.

At Carilion Clinic, we understand the power of connection and peer support. We offer a range of support groups. Together, we can help you get through these difficult times.

A support group is when people going through similar, often serious, health or life challenges come together. It offers a caring, safe environment to share your feelings and concerns with peers.

Joining a support group can help you feel less alone. Group participants often exchange practical information on treatment, resources, and self-care.
