Biography
Dr. Nicholas Yelverton is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in neurology and vascular neurology at Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University.
He sees patients in the hospital for acute ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, exacerbations of myasthenia gravis and multiple sclerosis, transverse myelitis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, alter mental status, seizures and status epileptics. In addition, he sees patients in clinic for dementia, dizziness, vertigo, neurosarcoidosis, tremor, Parkinson's disease, migraines, benign intracranial hypertension, trigeminal neuralgia, epilepsy, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, and multiple sclerosis.
Dr. Yelverton and his wife have two children and have lived in Roanoke since 2020.
