Biography
Dr. Sahni joined Carilion Clinic after completing her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan in 2009. Dr. Sahni is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She believes that an illness can be a result of multifactorial influences and therefore it is most important to approach patient care using evidence based care with an emphasis on mind body connection. She believes in empowering her patients to understand their own bodies while becoming mindful of the factors that influence their health. Dr. Sahni is a Certified Professional life and wellness Coach since 2017. She has received several quality awards and teaching awards for recognition of her services. Dr. Sahni enjoys teaching and training future physicians and is serving as a faculty at Carilion Clinic and an Associate Professor at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Dr. Sahni is the Director of Departmental Wellness at Carilion and is passionate about addressing healthcare professional well-being. She enjoys spending time with her family and cat, reading, arts and painting with watercolors.
