Biography

Dr. Kimberly Simcox attended Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia and completed a residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina in 2013. She then served as general obstetrician-gynecologist at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center for more than five years. She is now is double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Addiction Medicine. Her practice is dedicated to the care of pregnant women with substance use disorders. She started a medication-assisted treatment program in the New River Valley for pregnant and postpartum women with opioid use disorder. In 2019, she opened an office-based opioid treatment program for this same patient population in Roanoke. She has been employed by Carilion Clinic for seven years in the general Obstetrics and Gynecology division and she currently lives in Roanoke, Virginia.
