Carilion Clinic

"My focus is on elderly patients and helping them to receive the best possible treatments that align with their goals of care. I attempt to understand and meet the patient and his/her family where they are in the course of an illness. I take time to explain and listen to the needs of the patient and the family. As a geriatrician, I feel we represent the patient's wants and needs to both their family and to the wider health care system."
