Biography
As Department of Neurosurgery Chair, Dr. Jane specializes in the treatment of neurosurgery conditions including pituitary tumors, pediatric hydrocephalus and brain tumors and congenital spinal disorders. With nearly 20 years of experience, he provides care for both adults and children with neuroendocrine tumors, including craniopharyngiomas and pituitary adenomas. He is a specialist in the neuro-endoscopic treatment of hydrocephalus, intraventricular brain tumors, pituitary adenomas and parasellar skull base tumors, including chordomas, chondrosarcomas, craniopharyngioma and meningiomas.
Dr. Jane performs over 100 transsphenoidal surgeries annually for parasellar tumors. He has more than 170 publications and frequently speaks nationally and internationally on endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery.
