This National Drug Take Back Day (or any day!), drop off your prescription or over-the-counter medicines at a convenient location near you. Or bring them to any Carilion Clinic Pharmacy and drop them in one of our discreet take-back kiosks.
Every day is drug take back day
Have unopened prescriptions? Our Carilion Drug Donation Pharmacy collects certain medications for patients who have a hard time affording them. We accept:
- Inhalers in the original foil wrapping.
- Injectable devices or vials.
- Sealed manufacturer bottles of prescription tablets or capsules.
- Unit-dose packages like blister cards.
To donate your prescriptions, bring them to our Crystal Spring or New River Valley pharmacies any time. We can help sort through which medicines we can accept for donation and help you safely dispose of the rest.
