Section of Palliative Medicine and Supportive Care
About
Program Overview
The Section of Palliative and Supportive Care, part of the Department of Medicine, provides care, education, and research focused on helping patients with serious illness or injury. We work with patients, families, and care teams to offer whole-person care that respects each patient’s values, focuses on comfort and dignity, and supports emotional and spiritual needs.
Our team also advances palliative care through teaching and research, while promoting empathy, compassion, and excellence in every aspect of our work.
