
Beacon OUD Study
Validation of an opioid-screening mobile tablet application.
About
This is a study to validate a mobile tablet application to screen for opioid use. Eligible patients will be enrolled in a single session, either remotely using the contact information below, or in person at a psychiatry appointment, as determined by your physician. The total expected length of participation for enrolled patients is expected to last no longer than 15 minutes and after completion, patients will receive a $5 Walmart gift card.

Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 65
- Have an opioid prescription or use opioids outside of a prescription
Exclusion Criteria
- Any emergent medical or psychiatric conditions that require immediate medical attention
- Any other conditions that would prevent the patient from being able to provide responses to a researcher-administered computerized task/remote survey
