Protocol Description
The Amplatzer™ post-infarct muscular, ventricular septal defect (VSD) occluder is a percutaneous transcatheter occlusion device intended for closure of post-myocardial infarct muscular VSDs in patients who are not satisfactory surgical candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
This is a humanitarian use device (HUD) used on an emergency basis.

Medical director of the Structural Heart and Valve Center at Carilion Clinic and an assistant professor of Medicine at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
