Biography
Zachary Lyon, D.O. graduated from Brigham Young University and was active in the BYU marching band and ballroom dance touring team. He was the fellowship recipient for Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) and spent two years in the ecclesiastical service mission in South Korea. He then continued his education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where he earned his medical degree and developed an interest in orthopaedic surgery. He was the grant recipient of the Rossnick Humanitarian medical mission to Peru.
Dr. Lyon completed his orthopaedic residency at Larkin General Hospital in Florida and a fellowship in spine surgery from Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
While not working, Dr. Lyon is accomplished in martial arts with a black belt in taekwondo. He also earned his Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America and is an avid runner, competing in marathons.
