Biography
Yasmeen attended Penn State University for her undergraduate degree and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where she obtained her Master's in Nursing, specializing in Women's Health Care. Yasmeen worked as a Registered Nurse in Labor and delivery for over 6 years at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania prior to attaining her Master's degree at Penn. After becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she transitioned to their outpatient OB/GYN clinic, the Helen O. Dicken's Center for 4 years. She then relocated to SW Virgina, with her husband and son, working at Women's Health Services of Central Virginia in Lynchburg for 7 years. She began her career with Carilion in 2018 where she continues to focus on providing care to women across the lifespan.

Ms. Adam's was AMAZING! She came highly recommended due to me having early menopausal symptoms. I had to wait to get an appointment with her, but it was worth it. She took her time, asked me my history and symptoms, and reviewed my medical records with me. She answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable enough to open up to her. I left feeling heard and validated for the first time in years! I also left with a plan and medication which has helped.
