Biography
Started healthcare career in pre-hospital medicine as volunteer EMT. Sarted working in hospital as cardiac monitor tech. Later, earned RN, initially worked medsurge/telemetry, then cardiac SDU, last position as RN was in CCL specializing in interventional , radiology procedures. After earning my NP degree and licensing, completed primary care NP residency at the VA medical center in Orlando, Florida. I loved working with veterans! After residency program, needed to move to SW VA to care for my mother. Worked at Ballad Health, CVA Heart Institute as an NP specializing in Electrophysiology. I missed working with Veterans and primary care providers are in great need, especially in rural areas.
