Biography
Dr. Steffan, DPM is a board-certified podiatrist with over three decades of experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions. He specializes in bunion and hammertoe surgery, diabetic foot wound care and limb salvage, heel pain, and foot and ankle arthritis. Dr. Steffan earned his degree from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in 1985 and completed further medical training at the Quillen College of Medicine in 1986. He owned and operated Community Foot Care, a private practice, for over 30 years before joining Carilion Clinic in 2019. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association, and remains committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for patients of all ages.
