Biography
Robert McNamara, Ph.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He completed his doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology at Colorado State University, and his Predoctoral Internship in Psychology at the Thomas E. Cook Counseling Center at Virginia Tech. Dr. McNamara practices with Carilion Clinic and is an Assistant Professor with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine. He previously held positions at Wake Forest University, Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute (Fralin Biomedical Research Institute), and University of North Carolina Wilmington.
