Dr. Carpenter was very pleasant, thorough, friendly, and interested in my health and concerns. He spent time with me explaining medical issues and definitely was determined to get to the bottom of my health problems. Excellent care! I appreciated the fact that he did not brush off my medical concerns or rush me out of the office.
Dr Carpenter does an excellent job of making a connection with his patients. He talks his time and makes sure all my concerns are addressed. I have already recommended him to my adult daughter who also thinks he is a great primary care physician. You can tell he really cares about his patients and makes a real personal connection with them which is so impactful.
Dr. Carpenter is a good doctor. He does not try to rush through the appointment. He takes time to talk to me.
Dr. Carpenter who was new to me and Carilion, listened to me and spent time taking my past history. I would see him again when Dr. Jamison is not in. I feel he is one of the best listening doctors I've seen in a long time! I could tell he really cared about my medical history and my care.
