Biography
Rebecca Wooldridge, nurse practitioner, has been employed with Carilion Clinic for many years. She obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in 2018, and has worked in the area of psychiatry for the past two years. She worked as a registered nurse for 33 years prior to that. She recently completed her Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification program. Rebecca served in the United States Navy Reserves as a Navy nurse for 17 years. Her clinical expertise is working in the acute psychiatric hospital setting with substance disorders, alcohol detox and depression/anxiety. She has a desire to mentor and teach upcoming psychiatric nurse practitioners as the role continues to expand.
