Biography

Michelle Marks is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center with expertise in traumatic brain injury. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Master's degree in Nursing, Virginia Commonwealth University in 1997 with a Baccalaureate in the Science of Nursing and a Master's in Business Administration from Averett University in 2004. Skilled in inpatient and outpatient management of individuals with traumatic brain injuries, she works closely with brain injury medicine physicians, psychiatry, psychology, and therapies in helping individuals meet their clinical goals. She is also experienced as an advanced care practitioner in hematology/oncology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, and psychiatry and has been a registered nurse since 1993. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Virginia Nurses' Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
