Biography
Dr. Knight completed his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at Mississippi State University in 2005 and his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN in 2013. He completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in the fall of 2018 at East Tennessee State University in Kingsport, TN. He continued his training and completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity, and microsurgery in 2019 at the University of Florida under the mentorship of Paul C. Dell, MD.
His main interests include hand surgery, fracture repair, tendon repair and reconstruction, nerve repair, joint replacement for hand arthritis, shoulder replacement, and many other common orthopaedic surgeries. Dr. Knight recognizes the importance of continually improving the patient education process and strives to create an environment of open communication and understanding with his patients.
When not seeing patients he enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with his beautiful wife, Jennifer.
