I truly enjoy being a cardiologist and find the heart to be as fascinating as I did when I first started to learn about it over twenty-five years ago. Although the heart is a relatively simple organ, the science behind heart health is rich and complex. One of my most important goals as a doctor is to help patients gain a deep understanding of their own heart health so that they can make the best decisions for themselves rather than simply telling them what it is that they should do.

As a general cardiologist, I am able to diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of cardiac symptoms and diseases from coronary artery disease to heart rhythm problems to congestive heart failure. I have advanced training in multiple cardiac imaging techniques which are used to diagnose heart disease. I also have a particular interest in patients with high blood pressure that is difficult to control and I have served as a consultant to many doctors and patients who need specialized care in this area.
