The thing I especially like about Ms. Adkins is that she makes me feel like a partner in my own health care. Too many medical providers seem to assume that they are the experts (which they are) and that I, as the patient, should just do whatever they say. Ms. Adkins takes a very cooperative approach and I'm extremely grateful for that. She's also excellent at follow-up.
My primary care physician was unavailable so I scheduled with Jennifer. I have seen her on two occasions and have been very impressed and appreciate her helping me with some new issues that have come up. She explains things thoroughly and does a great job of checking blood work and in my case requesting x-rays which showed some major issues. I feel that I am on the road to getting better and credit Jennifer with my progress!
This was my first visit with Jennifer Adkins. I really liked her and am happy to be her patient.

I am so fortunate to have Jennifer Adkins, PA as my HCP. My health has improved significantly since working with her starting in August of 2025! She exemplifies a true caring medical professional and is an asset to the Carilion community!
