Biography

Jamie Gills was born and grew up in Roanoke, attending high school in the area where he was one of several valedictorians in his graduating class. He enjoyed playing sports in high school and continues to remain active playing sports for recreation and exercise. He went to James Madison University where he graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in health sciences and a minor in biology. He went on to graduate school at Jefferson College of Health Sciences where he received a master's degree in science, physician assistant studies.

As part of the sports medicine team, he enjoys providing sideline care for multiple local high schools such as North Cross school and James River high school and serves as a member of the athletic care team for Virginia Military Institute (VMI), Southern Virginia University (SVU), and Washington & Lee (W&L).
