Biography
Jacquelyn L. Wentworth, MD is originally from a small town in Northern Maine. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Master's in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her medical degree from Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, Virginia, and then completed residency training at the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecology. Since training, she has worked in community hospitals in Abingdon, Virginia and Corbin, Kentucky prior to returning to Southwest Virginia to serve the New River Valley region.
