Biography
Dr. Yohannes grew up in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E and since high school, has called Virginia home. She went to George Mason for undergrad, and VCOM for medical school. She completed her first 2 years of OBGYN residency at Trinity Health Oakland, Michigan before transferring to Carilion Clinic. She completed her residency in 2026 and stayed on staff. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to women in every season of life; including pregnancy, preventive care, gynecologic and surgical care. She believes the best care begins with listening and building a trusting relationship with each patient. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with shared decision-making, ensuring that patients feel informed and comfortable with their care.
