Elizabeth “Betsy” Worthley, DMSc, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant with over 14 years of experience in family medicine and orthopedics, specializing in hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions. She currently practices at Carilion Clinic’s Institute for Orthopaedics and Neurosciences. Betsy has worked in high-volume orthopedic and hand surgery settings across the United States, managing complex upper extremity disorders and assisting in hundreds of surgical procedures. She holds a Doctor of Medical Science degree and has published on neuropathic upper extremity pain. Her background includes service as a U.S. Navy Lieutenant with deployment to Afghanistan.
