Biography
Dr. Claire D. Craft grew up in the Roanoke Valley and graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition, Fitness and Exercise. She went on to study medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her medical degree in 2016. She completed her residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina, in 2020. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Craft joined Carilion Clinic in 2022, after first working in private practice. While skilled in all aspects of women's health care, she has a passion for obstetrics, family planning and pediatric/adolescent gynecology. Helping women navigate life’s big changes is an honor that she takes very seriously.
In her time off she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, gardening and beekeeping.
