The doctor was kind. The appointment did not feel rushed, which is unusual with a doctor. My only complaint is that he didn't seem to "hear" my concerns about how his proposed treatment might interact with known health issues. Once repeated on the follow up call (first time ever so kudos there!) he seemed to "get it". Just had to be a self advocate.
Sound medical analysis of problem and recommended - remedies - short of oblique conversation - strictly on task of his professional expertise with empathy to help receive pain and give strategy for recovery.
