Biography
Dr. Sollinger is a native of Roanoke, Virginia and joined Carilion Clinic and the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in 2009. She conducts comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for individuals with neurological and other medical illnesses. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia and subsequently worked at the National Institutes of Health for several years, assisting with research studies. She obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from American University after completing her predoctoral internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC. She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship specializing in clinical neuropsychology at the West Virginia School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia. Dr. Sollinger is board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology and has been practicing for 20 years. Her clinical and research interests include cognitive health in aging, mild cognitive impairment, dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and cancer related cognitive impairment.
