Biography
Dr. Amanda Tiffany grew up in Southwest Virginia and joined the faculty of Carilion Clinic in 2017. She also completed her residency training in Pediatrics with Carilion Clinic from 2014-2017, which was a short move from Blacksburg, VA where she completed medical school at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Tiffany enjoys all aspects of pediatric care including newborn weight checks, preventative well child checks, sports physicals, and all manner of the sick visit variety. She has broad interests which include lactation care, obesity in the pediatric population, as well as making psychiatric care more accessible patients to through primary care. Dr. Tiffany appreciates the continuity that pediatrics brings and the relationships that are built with parents, patients, and families along the way. She repeatedly states that it is her goal to see someone from their newborn visit through to their high school graduation. Dr. Tiffany has served as a mentor for both VTCSOM and VCOM medical students.
In her limited free time, Dr. Tiffany can be found with her husband, James chasing their two little boys and any spare time spent playing volleyball or working on her photography hobby.
