Dr Auckland had 13 patients to review biopsy results with that day and was necessarily eager to describe his recommendations. I had an excellent grasp of the biopsy results coming into the meeting so he spent time on the likely surgery outcomes, impact on continence, and the permanent loss of sexual ability that would probably result. I was a bit shocked. Not his fault as he was being frank. He gave an excellent overview of the surgery. He has a heavy surgery schedule and I am thankful that Carilion NRV has a robotic surgeon of his capabilities. I am appreciative of his expertise.
