We see people of all ages, including kids, teens, adults and seniors. We work to get to know the families who come to our practice. As your dentist, we want to be the first place you turn for all things oral health.
What does Carilion family dental offer?
We provide a full suite of family dental care, including routine appointments such as cleanings, X-rays and exams. We can also help with dental emergencies and more complex procedures.
Our treatments include:
- Preventive care: We help people maintain good oral health through routine cleanings and exams. We can help you and your kids learn to brush and floss better.
- Standard dental procedures: We can do tooth extractions, root canals and partial and complete dentures.
- Crowns and bridges: We do crowns and bridges. We also offer same-day crowns.
- Dental implants: We can place implants and do restorations.
- Rehabilitation care: We can do complex oral rehabilitation, including after trauma or surgery.
Who does Carilion family dental treat?
Carilion Dentistry offers several types of dental care. Only some services are open to the public.
Carillion Family Dental is a traditional dental practice. We're community dentists, and our services are open to anyone. We also see Carilion employees here.
By contrast, our hospital dentistry is by referral only. This is dental care for people with complex medical issues or needing more support. Our hospital dentists provide oral care in a hospital setting at Carilion Children’s Tanglewood Center.
We also treat kids at our pediatric dental practice. This includes dental care for kids who have special medical needs.
