When you call Carilion Clinic's CONNECT line, you will speak directly with a mental health care professional trained to identify the resources that best meet your urgent needs. If appropriate, the CONNECT professional may recommend that you access an Emergency Room for further evaluation. The CONNECT services start with a phone call to 540-981-8181 or toll-free at 800-284-8898. A CONNECT professional will speak privately with each caller to understand their concerns and provide recommendations and resources. This initial call does not offer treatment or therapy but aims to determine the most appropriate resources to help.
