Pay Your Bill Online
New: Pay Your Bill Through MyChart
You can now pay your bill in the same location where you view your health information and contact your care team--MyChart!
Sign in to your MyChart account to view and pay your bill or to set up a zero-interest payment plan.
You can also pay as a guest. To pay as a guest, you will need the guarantor account number or visit number from your bill.
Note: For accounts with a prefix of CAR in the upper right corner, don't use MyChart. Instead, use the CAR Account Payment link on the More Information & Resources tab.
Information for Former Carilion Bill Pay Users
If you previously used Carilion Bill Pay (our old system before moving to MyChart), here's what you need to know:
- If you have a payment plan with Carilion Bill Pay for one account, it will automatically move to the new program. You do not need to do anything.
- If you have a payment plan for more than one account—for example, if you are managing several family members' plans—our Billing Customer Service team will contact you with instructions to move your account to the new program.
- The new payment plans have zero interest.
- If you don’t have a payment plan but have enrolled with Carilion Bill Pay to pay the full amount of your medical bills, the website where you pay your bill will look a little different. You can create a MyChart account or pay as a guest.

Other Ways To Pay Your Bill
There are several other convenient ways to pay your bill.

The payment window at our 1502 Williamson Road NE location is open only for patients who want to make in-person payments. For other Billing Customer Service needs, please contact us by phone or online. Contact information is available here.
Financial Assistance
If you need help paying your bill, we offer extended payment options as well as financial assistance for patients who qualify. For financial assistance, we use the Federal Poverty Guidelines published and updated yearly in the Federal Register, along with a Financial Assistance Application developed by Carilion, to determine eligibility.
