Training objectives

  1. Describe HCV and HIV basic concepts, epidemiology, and disease progression
  2. Complete HCV and HIV screening and diagnosis
  3. Interpret HCV and HIV-related lab results and pre-treatment evaluations
  4. Select appropriate HCV and HIV treatments with an understanding of drug interactions
  5. Manage patient HCV and HIV therapy and related complications, including for unique populations
  6. Determine when advanced and complicated cases need to be referred to a specialist
