The Emerald Program supports pregnant patients with opioid use disorder through treatment, behavioral health management, and support during pregnancy and early parenthood.
About
We provide office-based opioid treatment (OBOT) for pregnant patients. We support patients during pregnancy and through the first months after delivery. No insurance is required to take part in the program.
Our care team works together to support both parent and baby. Services may include medication treatment for opioid use disorder, behavioral health management, and care coordination to help families transition after delivery.
We also offer support and education in:
- Parenting preparation
- Healthy relationships
- Stress management
- Communication skills
- Overall health and wellness
Behavioral health services include individual, group, couples, and family therapy.

Appointments and Referrals
Your care starts with a referral from your doctor. After we receive the referral, our team will contact you to schedule your appointment and help you prepare for your visit.
Referring clinicians: To make a referral or speak with our team, you can call the office at 540-527-4900 or the nurse line at 540-581-9491. Referrals can also be made through EPIC.
